Who does Jack look like?

People have been saying for the longest time that Anna looks so much like me.  I usually surprise them by saying that I think she is actually the spitting image of her Grandma Chiles.  They have the same eye shape, and their faces are the same shape, too, I think.

People have seemed more puzzled about Jack and who he resembles, so I just pulled up some old pictures and have confirmed my theory- he looks like me.  And my dad, I think.

I ran into a table, if you’re wondering where the shiner comes from.  I think I remember running into it, actually.  I remember my dad telling me to slow down, too- which is something I am constantly saying in my own house these days.  Ah, the seasons of our lives.

Years ago I scanned oodles of family photos- some of them date back to the late 1800s- they are awesome.  Today I am so glad I have preserved them because I can do stuff like this pretty easily.

I am in awe of how DNA works.
